Lynn Rasmussen
Lynn Rasmussen, owner of Social Energizer, LLC., focuses on advancing the position of small towns, hotels and resorts to compete in a continually more technical and branded world. Marketing and brand strategy set the stage for web design that gets attention and gets found online. From analytics to social media, Lynn has experience at every step in the process and a proven track record of earning great results for her clients. In expanding Social Energizer to create Tourism Base Camp, Lynn brought in the skills of the other senior executives and associates listed here.
Tom Lyons
Tom Lyons, owner of LyonsShare, specializing in marketing strategy, media relations and PR, including a decade of experience promoting Door County tourism as the Marketing Director for the Tourism Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce. Tom was part of a small team that successfully grew and promoted the Door County brand. More recently, he was the senior PR Executive for a Fox Valley marketing agency with international, national and regional clients. Prior to years in marketing, Tom was an award-winning print journalist in Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for 17 years.
Kit Sorenson
Kit Sorenson, owner of Kit Sorenson & Associates, works with our team of independent professionals to assist communities, organizations and businesses through research, brand identity, strategic marketing, media planning and buying and other creative services. Kit has spent his entire career bringing people together and forging successful partnerships. As Economic Development Consultant for the State of Wisconsin’s Department of Tourism, his job was to provide leadership and guidance to Wisconsin’s tourism industry. His background also includes positions as Director of Public Affairs Neenah Foundry, Executive Vice President of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce, President of the Neenah-Menasha Chamber of Commerce, and Vice President of Public Affairs for the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce.
Michelle Micoley
Michelle joins us from Creative Group, Inc. an incentive and meeting company in Appleton where she was the creative behind the travel materials for many national and international incentive groups.
An analytically creative graphic designer with a focus on client and supplier relationships, Michelle brings 20-plus years of experience in designing award-winning materials for special events, corporate and small businesses, and brand identity.
Vinnie Oestreich
A communications student, Vinnie already has developed an impressive portfolio of professional videography and photography in the areas of tourism, recreational sports and real estate. He also assists clients with their social media marketing.
